As someone who has taken the leap from a 17+ year day job in Projects, Process & Strategic Delivery to full-time business owner, I understand the struggle to balance passion and sustainability. But, what I have come to learn about myself is that I am autistic and very likely have ADHD too. This rediscovering of myself has led me to realize that I need to pay more attention to my needs and honor the ways of working that suit me best if I'm going to avoid the boom and bust cycle of burnout.
While I love the work I do and the opportunity to provide transformative coaching services for amazing humans, my current coaching services and delivery models were not sustainable for my nervous system in the long term.
Being more aware of my needs, how my energy works, and how I show up best for my clients means I need to take care of myself according to what I need, rather than what I can get away with based on a lifetime of experience as a people-pleasing perfectionist with a tendency to overthink, overwork, and overcompensate!
That's why I have decided to switch to an evergreen coaching model for my business and be more honest about the impact of the work I do and why I do it. This means that instead of welcoming larger groups of people to join my coaching group at specific times of the year, I will be welcoming people to join all through the year. This will allow me to enroll fewer people at a time, enabling me to offer more high touch support from the start without compromising my own well-being.
I'm also excited to share that my main group coaching program is undergoing a reimagining process. Reconnect will now be known as SUCCESS. The reason for this change is simple: I believe that the new name better reflects the transformation and outcomes that occur when small business owners prioritize self-connection.
SUCCESS is designed to help you achieve success in both your personal and professional life by empowering you to reconnect with yourself and find the confidence to pursue your goals, outside of blockers such as fear of judgement, guilt about what you really want, and not feeling worthy enough to receive it. I'm confident that SUCCESS will continue to deliver exceptional results for its members, and I look forward to sharing more with you about it very soon.

Now, I have resisted owning this and sharing it for so long because, to be honest, it feels fucking terrifying! This is the biggest shift in my business since I started, and it's coming at a time when the world also feels like it is permanently in a state of flux. The second-guessing, fear, and doubt have all felt very real, and there are still things I am working on.
What I do know is that it is imperative for me to create a sustainable, aligned way of working to achieve my own success, and that in doing so, I can support other small business owners who want more from life to do exactly the same. I want us all to have business models that allow us to live well, doing what we love in ways that don't come at the cost of our well-being.
